1. Our Consumer Guarantee
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
2. Warranty Period and Coverage
In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, Dead Dingo Dongas offers a voluntary 5-year standard structural warranty on our garden sheds from the date of purchase.
You can extend this coverage to a 20-year extended structural warranty by registering your proof of purchase online within 30 days of purchase.
Both the standard and extended warranties cover defects in materials and manufacturing workmanship under normal domestic use.
3. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Incorrect DIY assembly or installation not conforming to our instructions.
- Inadequate or non-level foundations, footings, or concrete slabs.
- Severe weather events, accidents, floods, fire, or acts of God.
- Modification, alteration, or repairs made by unauthorised persons.
- Normal wear and tear, rust, or corrosion caused by coastal salt spray or chemical exposure.
- Use of the shed for commercial or non-intended purposes.
4. How to Make a Claim
To claim under this warranty, you must cease using the product immediately upon discovering the defect and contact us within 14 days. You must provide:
- Your original proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).
- Confirmation of online registration (if claiming within the 5-year extended period).
- A detailed description of the defect.

5. Claim Expenses
Dead Dingo Dongas will bear the reasonable costs of repairing or replacing the defective components if the claim is valid. However, you may responsible for any costs associated with returning the faulty parts to point of sale or making the shed accessible for inspection, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Dead Dingo Dongas as suppliers of kit only Garden sheds will NOT cover any costs in installation of faulty components.
