We started Dead Dingo Dongas to end the era of flimsy tin-can sheds, sky-high concreting bills and weekend-wrecking assembly. What we build instead is fully insulated, sits on its own raised floor, and goes up without the usual construction nightmare.
Who we are
From Flimsy Tin Cans to Premium Backyard Lifestyle
The story of Dead Dingo Dongas began back in 2001. At the time, our founder was a reseller in NSW for a famous national steel garage & shed brand, and also sold one of the major "tin can" kit garden shed brands of the day.
Managing the construction crews quickly revealed a massive flaw in the industry. The crews loved building proper, heavy-duty steel-framed structures — but they dreaded the flimsy, conventional garden sheds, only agreeing to assemble them when there was no other work available.
To make matters worse, local concreters charged premium, inflated prices just to pour the tiny slabs those basic kits required. Homeowners were paying top dollar for a frustrating build and an un-insulated backyard oven.
We knew there had to be a better way. Dead Dingo Dongas was born out of the desire to eliminate those flimsy designs, high concreting costs and assembly headaches — so we engineered a fully insulated, secure and incredibly strong structure that's easy to erect without the construction nightmare.
